Growing up in an LDS home, Ryan was intrigued by the difficulties Mike faced as a convert to the church growing up in a non-Christian home. After this short film was made, doors of communication began to open up between Mike and his family members. Most recently, his parents came up to Provo and went on a tour of BYU with Mike to see what his life up here was like.
